Access to Independence

Excellent customer service on phone and again in the store. My wheelchair leg rest needed a clip and a lot of patience to repair. My husband tried for hours and was unable to fix it. He called and went to Access to Independence same day. The husband/wife duo worked on it. It took quite a bit of time but he finally fixed the problem. We had left there with replacement leg rests and were on our way home when we were called and told that they were finally able to fix it. So we turned around and returned the new leg rest and brought back the newly- repaired rest. So very thankful and grateful that their kindness and determination.

The staff are very helpful. They have helped us help my sister with several items through the years. The ability to go in and see and try out the various adaptive equipment is so beneficial to us. Recently we were in need of a lightweight wheelchair 9that is a transport type,) and they were able to help us purchase one. The only thing I wish they had when we were trying out the lightweight wheelchair with my sister in it, is an item that is like a threshold that we could see how it would be to get my sister over it out in public. The item that was brought out to test that situation was a bit too high off the ground. We were able to test that, but it did take a bit more strenth to do so. We have ordered a shower wheelchair as well as other items that have really been beneficial. I also noticed they have some state of the art items such as "Sit to Stand" portable lift to allow people to have more ability to be outside of their homes more easily! Other than the lack of a pseudo-threshold, I would say go there and you will see how well they help you. They also give you tips on other areas such as saving money and safe care of your loved one!

I can't say enough about the good folks at Access to Independence. Special thanks to Jennifer who went above and beyond in showing me all the features of The Zeen. ( What a game changing device for anyone struggling with mobility) Jennifer truly cared about my challenges and showed that her concern for getting me the right device was her utmost priority. I highly recommend Access to Independence for anyone struggling with mobility issues. They will work one on one to help you get your life back.

Access to Independence is amazing! I cannot say enough good things about this business. They treat you with respect and are so helpful. I have gone to them for multiple medical equipment needs and they are always able to assist me. Jennifer and Tim went out of their way to help find and fit me for a wheelchair. Everyone there is super friendly and accommodating. I always recommend them to anyone looking for medical supplies or equipment. They are fantastic!

I’ve been looking for a power chair that fit all my needs ( inside/outside use, transportable in vehicle, light weight/portable, and within budget) access to independence had been recommended to me previously and boy I wish I would have contacted them sooner! After a quick phone conversation a representative named Jennifer was able to make an in home visit (same day) with the chair she had recommended during our phone call. My experience with Jennifer was outstanding! She genuinely cared and took the time to explain all the features of the chair and even walked around the neighborhood with me while I was on my maiden voyage in the chair! I felt so confident in making this purchase due to the tremendous customer experience I had from start to finish! I can’t thank Jennifer and Access to independence enough! Highly recommend!
